Completing A Full Circle
USS Discovery NCC-82006
Docked at Starbase 38, Barzan System, Alpha Quadrant
It was busy in the large main crew lounge. Jam-packed would be the best phrase to describe it. Noisy was another word to use with the huge crowd that were all mingling and getting to know one another. But it wasn’t a deafening sound as the ship’s jazz band, made up of a range of the Discovery’s crew that were musicians, played softly in the background and could be heard by all. Spirits were high as food and drink was shared, but no-one was unruly like a bunch of drunk Klingons toasting to their recent honourable victory. This was subtle, a Starfleet...Task Force 17 April Report
Back On Track
USS Discovery (NCC-82006)
“Commodore on the bridge.” announced Rider from the centre of the bridge as he rose from the centre chair, releasing it to his commanding officer.
Taking several strides across the bridge from the turbolift, Bennet looked around the Discovery’s bridge to see his entire senior staff at their various positions. It had been two weeks or so since they had dealt with the Hunters of D’Ghor and secured the Haydorian system. The group of Starfleet ships that had remained had ensured the Archanis Array was fully operational and ensured there were no other hunters lurking around. In that time Bennet had been promoted to the rank of...Task Force 17 May Competitions

“Governor, I promise you that Starfleet takes the defence of the colony seriously.” Bennet remarked, almost exhausted and frustrated with how whiny and demanding the Andorian-Aenar leader was.
“It doesn’t feel like you do Captain Bennet.” Thelis countered back with. “You have a number of ships now in the system but you are more bothered about the defence of that new array of yours.”
Bennet was pleased he was in the private confines of his ready room, so that none of his crew could see him become so annoyed with Thelis. The man was near-impossible to work with. His holographic representation was sat on the other side of Bennet’s desk....Task Force 17 Competitions

“Commander T’Lawra, on behalf of everyone on my crew and the Federation I want to thank you and your crew for being excellent travelling companions!”
Standing in transporter room one, Captain Zack Marshall-Bennet was wishing goodbye to his counterpart from the RRW Valdenor. The Vesta’s commanding officer was one year away from being fifty, but had maintained his boyish charm over the years he had spent in Starfleet. "Computer, activate programme Challenger zero three alpha nine nine."
With an instant, the silver and white holodeck disappeared and was replaced by the bridge of the old NX-class class starship, Challenger. Stood frozen in the centre of third warp five capable starship, Fleet Captain Lloyd Burton remained still with his hands on his hips and his entire bridge crew all sat at their stations, posed in a similar still position.
Burton came to life in an instant and he started to hand out orders as the ship went to tactical alert and automatically began to fight against the Romulan ships.
