Activity Awards (Tier 1)

Activity Awards are given out as members fill specific activities of the Fleet. They are awarded by Task Group Commanding Officers or Task Force Staff.

Service Ribbon Awarded for every 250 words of fiction written
Strategic Action Ribbon Awarded for every Minor gaming achievement as a solo participant within a Bravo Fleet community (such as completing a TFO on Star Trek Online)
Combat Action Ribbon Awarded for every Minor gaming achievement with another Bravo Fleet member (such as completing a TFO on Star Trek Online)
Campaign Ribbon Awarded for every Major gaming achievement (such as reaching max level on a character on Star Trek Online)

Recognition Awards (Tier 2)

Recognition Awards reflect ongoing activity or notable contributions from members. They are nominated by various members of the Task Force Senior Staff.

Image Name Description
Medal of Achievement Those who receive the Medal of Achievement have shown a strong level of activity within their Task Force or Task Group through gaming, participation and placement in competitions and events, or having worked on small-scale projects. Nominated by a Task Group Commanding Officer or higher.
Meritorious Service Cross Recipients of the Meritorious Service Cross have shown consistent and dedicated service to one’s unit by having displayed a greater than average amount of activity over a period of several weeks that included participation in several projects, events or competitions. Nominated by a Task Force Chief of Staff or higher.
Silver Palm The Silver Palm is awarded for extended service to one’s Task Group or Task Force, such as duties that aid a TGCO or TFCO as well as being a mentor to others. Activity over a period of some time that goes above and beyond what is considered normal can also be rewarded with this award. Nominated by a Task Force Executive Officer or higher.
Star for Distinguished Service The Star for Distinguished Service is awarded for exceptional levels of service or activity to a member’s Task Force or the Fleet. Taking on projects for a unit or fleet office, coupled with or supplemented by exceptional levels of general activity, are often recognized with this award. Nominated by a Task Force Commanding Officer, Department Head, or higher.
Star Cross The Star Cross is a medal that bridges the gap between the recognition awards and higher level merit awards. This can also be rewarded for extraordinary amounts of activity in a large-scale competition such as a Fleet Action, where the very best are rewarded for their efforts. However, for those having achieved an outstanding amount of general activity over a longer course of time, this award may also be given to reward such accomplishments. Nominated by a Task Force Commanding Officer or higher.

Merit Awards (Tier 3)

Merit Awards are the highest awards of the Fleet, given for outstanding contributions to the community or activity that goes above and beyond. They are nominated by various members of the Bravo Fleet Admiralty.

Jonathan Archer Order of Merit The recipient of the Jonathan Archer Order of Merit has shown consistent and long-term service to their Task Force or Fleet position. Such services however cannot be seen until taken on a whole, each individual part seen as one. It is given to those who have shown exemplary work in their position, demonstrating a keen understanding of their surroundings and helping to further their planned goals. Nominated by any member of the Bravo Fleet Admiralty.
Christopher Pike Medal of Valor Recipients of the Christopher Pike Medal of Valor have demonstrated their value to the whole Fleet through extreme dedication to one or more specific aspects of the organization. This can include service as a member of the Admiralty, or service on a major Fleet project. It is often awarded to those who have shown themselves to truly bring something new to their given position. However, their actions are not to be solely consigned to their specific Task Force, but instead, must show that they have had an impact outside of their respective work. One who receives this medal will be known to the Fleet at large, their impressive array of work standing the test of time. Nominated by any Bravo Fleet Admiralty Department Head.
Zephram Cochrane Medal of Excellence To receive the coveted Zephram Cochrane Medal of Excellence, a member of the Fleet must have shown an impressive array of talents and qualities over a considerable length of time. Such a member will have been active personally throughout their career, continually striving for more; they will have shown leadership abilities over a wide range of positions throughout the Fleet; they will have been a mentor to numerous other members, helping them along their path; they will be a pillar of the Fleet. These are the recipients of the Zephram Cochrane Medal of Excellence. Nominated by the Bravo Fleet Executive Officer.
Starfleet Medal of Honor The recipients of the Starfleet Medal of Honor have displayed the greatest forms of ability, service and sacrifice for the Fleet. Others pale in comparison to what the holders of this award have accomplished. They will have served the Fleet for many years, often in various capacities, and their names will go down in history as some of the most impactful members. Nominated by the Bravo Fleet Commanding Officer.

Sim and Player Awards

Bravo Fleet Simmer of the Month Awarded by the Office of the Chief of Staff for a member who has shown superior role-playing ability in the past month. This may be a reflection of writing talent, plot development, recruitment, or contributions to the community of a sim as a whole. Each Task Force will nominate a player belonging to one of their sims, regardless of that player’s Task Force assignment.
Bravo Fleet Simmer of the Quarter Awarded by the Office of the Chief of Staff for a member who has shown superior role-playing ability in the past quarter. This may be a reflection of writing talent, plot development, recruitment, or contributions to the community of a sim as a whole. All candidates for this award will have won Bravo Fleet Simmer of the Month in that quarter.
Bravo Fleet Simmer of the Year Awarded by the Office of the Chief of Staff for a member who has shown superior role-playing ability in the past year. This may be a reflection of writing talent, plot development, recruitment, or contributions to the community of a sim as a whole. All candidates for this award will have won Bravo Fleet Simmer of the Quarter in that year.
Bravo Fleet Sim of the Month Awarded by the Office of the Chief of Staff to a sim that has shown excellence in its contribution to Fleet canon, activity, quality, number of players and others for the past month. Each Task Force will nominate one of their sims, regardless of that GM’s Task Force assignment.
Bravo Fleet Sim of the Quarter Awarded by the Office of the Chief of Staff to a sim that has shown excellence in its contribution to Fleet canon, activity, quality, number of players and others for the past quarter. All candidates for this award will have won Bravo Fleet Sim of the Month in that quarter.
Bravo Fleet Sim of the Year Awarded by the Office of the Chief of Staff to a sim that has shown excellence in its contribution to Fleet canon, activity, quality, number of players and others for the past year.  All candidates for this award will have won Bravo Fleet Simmer of the Quarter in that year.

Service Citations

These awards reflect specific contributions to the Fleet that are worthy of unique acclaim.

Starfleet Medal of Commendation A yearly award for the players of each Task Force (each Task Force can nominate up to 5 people) whom have shown extreme dedication and resilience to their task force and Bravo Fleet, given on the 19th of August (Gene Roddenberry’s birthday).
Command at Sea This award is granted to any member who runs a Bravo Fleet sim, and remains on their record in perpetuity to reflect their contributions to the community
Command Staff Badge This award is granted to any member who serves on the Bravo Fleet Admiralty, and remains on their record in perpetuity to reflect their contributions to the community.
Starfleet Readiness Medal Awarded to a member who recruits a someone to Bravo Fleet. The recruiter becomes eligible for the award when the new member reaches the rank of Ensign, reflecting a level of commitment and to the Fleet community.
Expeditionary Award Awarded for the official mentoring of a new member, designated by the Task Force Senior Staff. The mentor becomes eligible for the award when the new member reaches the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

Dedication Citations

Awarded to players for verifiable and specific periods of time in which they have been a member of the Fleet. It will be the responsibility of the player to inform the HoH when they are due for an “upgrade”.

6 Months The Dedication Citation: 6 Months ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 6 months. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
1 Year The Dedication Citation: 1 Year ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 1 year. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
2 Years The Dedication Citation: 2 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 2 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
3 Years The Dedication Citation: 3 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 3 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
4 Years The Dedication Citation: 4 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 4 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
5 Years The Dedication Citation: 5 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 5 Years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
10 Years The Dedication Citation: 10 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 10 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
15 Years The Dedication Citation: 15 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 15 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
20 Years The Dedication Citation: 20 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 20 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
25 Years The Dedication Citation: 25 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 25 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
30 Years The Dedication Citation: 30 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 30 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.
35 Years The Dedication Citation: 35 Years ribbon is awarded to players who have verifiably been a member of the Fleet for 35 years. It is up to the player to inform the Hall of Honour of eligibility for this citation. Upon advancing to the next level, the player will be removed from this list.

Competition Awards

Starfleet Bronze Star Awarded for exceptional performance in Fleet Action level event for earning a 3rd place finish in a competition.
Starfleet Silver Star Awarded for exceptional performance in Fleet Action level event for earning a 2nd place finish in a competition.
Starfleet Gold Star Awarded for exceptional performance in Fleet Action level event for earning a 1st place finish in a competition.
Action Medal with Comet Cluster Awarded for achieving first, second, or third place in an official, non-Fleet Action competition determined by the Tier of the competition.
Action Medal with Moon Cluster Awarded for achieving first, second, or third place in an official, non-Fleet Action competition determined by the Tier of the competition.
Action Medal with Planet Cluster Awarded for achieving first, second, or third place in an official, non-Fleet Action competition determined by the Tier of the competition.
Action Medal with Star Cluster Awarded for achieving first, second, or third place in an official, non-Fleet Action competition determined by the Tier of the competition.
Action Medal with Galaxy Cluster Awarded for achieving first, second, or third place in an official, non-Fleet Action competition determined by the Tier of the competition.

Legacy Awards

Legacy Awards represent and replace many Bravo Fleet awards given before 25/04/2020. These medals and ribbons have all been well-earned, and the Legacy Awards reflect their past contributions to the fleet.

Legacy Ribbon The Legacy Ribbon represents an old ribbon for which there is no current comparable award in the current system. This may mean the criteria for the award is no longer applicable to present ribbons, or the written nomination lacks sufficient detail for the OCS to award a current ribbon in its place. The Legacy Ribbon still represents a notable contribution to Bravo Fleet in past years.
Legacy Medal The Legacy Medal represents an old medal for which there is no current comparable award in the current system. This may mean the criteria for the award is no longer applicable to present medals, or the written nomination lacks sufficient detail for the OCS to award a current medal in its place. The Legacy Medal still represents a significant contribution to Bravo Fleet in past years.

Challenge Coins

Challenge Coins are awarded for participation and judging of Fleet Actions, typically in a ratio of one coin per competition. They are awarded by the Office of the Chief of Staff.

Raptor’s Wing Challenge Coin The Raptor’s Wing Challenge Coin was awarded for participation in Fleet Action I: Raptor’s Wings.
