Natima Lonar

Natima Lonar is a Starfleet officer currently serving as the Chief Security and Tactical Officer on board the USS Constitution. Before this, she held the same position on the USS Triton. Natima’s family come from the Cardassian colony on Panora, a world that was located in the Former Demilitarised Zone along the Federation/Cardassian border.

Natima Lonar is a remarkable individual whose personality can be described as a breath of fresh air. Born on the world of Panora in the former Demilitarised Zone after the Dominion War ended, she has managed to maintain her positivity in every situation. Her unwavering commitment to her ship and crew is unparalleled, and she feels incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve in Starfleet as a Cardassian.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Natima is a hard-working individual who takes her duties seriously. She is known for her exceptional marksmanship skills, earning her the title of the best marksman on the ship’s phaser range. Her dedication to improving her skills is evident in how she spends countless hours practising and seeking feedback from her colleagues. She is usually found reading the latest romantic literature in the ship’s crew lounge.

Despite being a Cardassian in Starfleet, Natima has fully embraced her role as a Starfleet officer. She takes pride in her work, and her dedication is evident in everything she does. Her positive attitude and hard work are an inspiration to all those around her, even if she can become quite annoying with it. She was fiercely loyal to Captain Rio Cançäo, who supported her application to Starfleet Academy.

Ambition

The death of her mentor hit Natima hard, but eventually, after mourning her loss, she knew she needed to honour her fallen commanding officer. She demonstrated her commitment to being an excellent officer by consistently working hard in all of her duties. One day, Natima wishes to rise through the ranks and become the first Cardassian admiral in Starfleet.
