Eos Station (DS-108)

"Wait, you're telling me Starfleet willingly authorized the formation of a carrier squadron with actual teeth, and it's headquartered here? What's next, they gonna form an all Vulcan troupe of stand-up comedians?" Acting XO Dick Bong

Eos Station was one of the most important strategic outposts along its section of the Romulan Nuetral Zone, when it was completed in 2293. She was a part of the final batch of what was colloquially known as the ‘late series’ Watchtower class stations. Its design included a Promenade collar/ring from the start as well as upgraded sensor and comms arrays. It is home to a permanently attached unit of auxiliary craft, the Eos Patrol Wing. DS108, as she is officially known is also currently the HQ and homeport of the joint, allied Trenton Squadron.

The station is now categorized as a class 3* station, and is the primary station serving the Gamma Doradus system, and the surrounding Sector Group 506. It is positioned in, what is now, a relatively remote region located along the lower section of the Romulan Free State border on the Z-axis, roughly 45 lightyears below the galactic plain of the ecliptic.

A recent ‘gold rush-type’ situation has developed in the nearby Hodian Belt, bringing a steady stream of miners, companies and ships to the area. This activity has sparked a renewed strategic interest in the region from several stakeholders in the coreward section of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. Though Eos just completed a partial rebuild that included a service life extension and modernization after suffering severe damage during the Vaadwaur invasion of spring of the 2402, she is still an old workhorse who’s capabilities and capacity are under strain on a near daily basis these days.

OOG Information-

Eos Station operates as an RP Command. The theme and feel of the storywriting is often heavily influence and inspired by DS9 and LD. As it is, by definition, a secondary activity for all involved, the cadence of the writing will be done at a medium pace. The G in RPG has intentionally been left out. Eos will not be run as a game where GMs and Story Managers do reveals and throttle/drive activity. It will run more like you would imagine a Star Trek writers room to function.

The command is permanently open and available for joint missions, layovers and cameo appearances with other ships and members of Bravo Fleet. No permission is needed to visit, dock, repair, resupply, refit or interact with any of the characters listed as UNPCs.

We are currently accepting applications. All applicants will be reviewed and must be accepted by the commands active membership. If anyone wishes to join or conduct any collaborative activities with, or on Eos Station, please contact a member of the Senior Staff listed on the roster or the owner, discord handle- drydon33.

A Sudden Contact, Part I

Operation Stalwart Falcon

Eos Station, IKS Vor’nak, RRW Malem, RRW Tomal, USS Malinche and USS Trenton

The RRW Tomal traveled under cloak through the edge of a star system spinward of the Hodian Belt. At warp 5.9, the Galas-class warbird moved through space silently. Its annular propulsion structure surrounded the central hull in a broad, elegant ring. Within it, the vessel’s [...]
