Lieutenant Commander Elizabeth Grey

Elizabeth is an intelligent, compassionate and hard-working woman who possesses good medical instincts and a natural flair for medicine, relying on her gut more than on what ‘the book’ says. Whilst this has often turned out in her favour, her failures have a dramatic impact on her emotional state. This has manifested itself in a stark negativity in some cases, although she would never allow her patients to see her doubts or concerns. Never the less, Elizabeth views the word in shades of grey, and firmly believes that there are few absolute rights or absolute wrongs. Due to her parents frequent absences and long shifts at work Elizabeth has developed severe abandonment issues, which has led her to be mistrustful of new people in a social setting and fearful of commitment.

Ellen Doyle

To say that Ellen “Gunny” Doyle has some personal issues, is like declaring that absolute-zero is cold…but you’d be pretty messed up to, if you were left for dead on a derelict station filled with hostile forces, for over two years…and then found out that your mission was made pointless anyways…

As a former black-ops specialist and special forces operator, Ellen has had a varied career: Despite her NCO listing, she was the Security Chief for the USS Rhode Island, first of her class…she was briefly the “sheriff” of Starbase K-3, aka: Providence Fleet Yards…an error in the Starfleet assignment databanks made her, for a while, the Chief Tactical Officer for the USS Constitution. She infiltrated enemy lines before the retaking of the Olympus colony.

Now, she babysits engineers.

Lieutenant Commander Ephraim Avara

Ephraim’s heart is set on making people feel seen and heard, though he tends to cringe at the earnestness of what he considers to be his life’s mission. Raised in a broken home, Ephraim sees counseling as a vehicle to facilitating personal connection in his life, and in the mission of Starfleet. He knows the power of a well-placed question and a listening ear, but is still in the process of mastering his sometimes too-sharp-tongue when among friends or set off by a particular kind of arrogance or uncaring. Ephraim is guided by a deep sense of justice and duty that he tempers with humor and laughs. He is a firm believer that, in the words of his mentor, ‘the greatest gift you can give someone is consistently giving a shit about their life.’
