July 2021 Ops Update
This is a short update with just three announcements: I’m pleased to announce that Craig, aka Thrace, has joined the Operations Department as our very first Deputy Operations Officer. While the Operations Department has a relatively small staff, we interface directly with the staff of all four task forces, handle RPGs, mentor new members, and […]

TF72 April 2021 Report
“A Line in the Sand” Following the Archanis Campaign, Task Force 72 had been busy picking up the diplomatic pieces strewn around the galaxy by the conflict. Starfleet’s swift response had been lauded internally and had given the Federation’s enemies pause, but there were now real concerns about the safety of the Federation’s frontiers. One […]

Fleet Operations Report – May 2021
Normal Operations “Are all of my ships back where they belong?” Captain Bancroft looked up from the pool table display at the heart of Fleet Operations on Starbase Bravo, coming to a respectful at-ease position before nodding to the Director of Fourth Fleet Operations. Admiral Seagraves had the unnerving ability to sneak into one of the most heavily […]

Task Force 72 March 2021 Report
Cast of Characters The K’Ehleyr was lit up by spotlights as she completed her final approach to her usual berth within Starbase 72’s massive docking bay. The Resolute-class ship’s graceful lines and large engines always made her stand out against the more mundane vessels that she shared the hanger with, and it was always a relief […]
Change of Command – Task Force 86
Due to his current work situation, Dave has decided to step back from his role as Task Force 86 Commanding Officer. Dave has been a long-serving task force staffer, starting first as Task Force Chief of Staff and then Task Force Executive Officer in Task Force 9, and then graciously agreeing to take over Task […]

Unexpected as it is, I’m pleased to announce three competitions for this week hosted by Task Force 72. This time around, we’re previewing the revisions to Task […]
Fleet Operations Report – April 2021
Inspection Time The Type-11 shuttlecraft Resolute did a pirouette as it landed on the Exeter‘s deck so that the passenger ramp faced the group of cadets and enlisted trainees standing at nervous attention could see Admiral Seagraves exit her craft. The formality of a shuttlecraft landing wasn’t strictly necessary given that the training ship was docked with Starbase […]

Task Force 72 Change of Command
As much as we’d all like to be able to devote one-hundred percent of our time to Bravo Fleet (and/or just live entirely in the Star Trek universe itself!), we’re all Humans with real lives, at least that’s what our ReCaptcha system promises us. Mark, who has served as Task Force 72 Commanding Officer so well […]
Two New Games!
As operations officer, one of my favorite tasks is getting to let our community know when we have new opportunities for our members. In this specific existence, I’m pleased to announce that we have two new games opening, the USS Hippocrates and a game set right after The Burn in the 31st Century: Resilience, which is […]
Operations Report – January 2021
This update contains a few different topics related to the Operations Department, mostly related to staffing opportunities. As a sort of preamble, I wanted to start with an observation I made a few days ago as I thought about the purpose of this department, as it exists at the intersection of the majority of the other departments' responsibilities, while also having duties of its own. In short, the Operations Department exists to help the membership navigate between the fleet's various offerings through mentorship, ranging from the New Member team, to mentoring Task Force leadership, to coordinating the established roleplaying groups (a.k.a. games, sims, writing groups, and a whole bunch of other jargon depending on your perspective). If you're not sure where to send your question, always feel free to approach your Task Force staff or any member of the New Member team (even if you're not a "new" member), as that's what we're all here for!
Call for TFCO Applications
Due to circumstances beyond his control (congrats on the promotion!), Christopher has had to step back from TF17 for the time being. While we do have internal candidates for the position, we want to open up our pool of interested parties for future vacancies, especially to folks who might not have thought about this kind […]
