Quick Hits

  • Another successful Fleet Action is in the books! Congraulations to everyone who placed, and I’m looking forward to the monsoon of post-Fleet Action awards and promotions that will be coming.
  • A huge congrats to TF17 who had over 50% of their members participate which is a huge achievement. A big shout out to Hurkx and Annex for rallying the troops in TF17!
  • Gaming participation was way up this Fleet Action. The previous best was We Are the Borg which had 125 gaming submissions from 19 gamers. Labyrinth had 239 gaming submissions across 30 gamers. A huge improvement!
  • I think my overall take away this Fleet Action is that Bravo Fleet continues to grow as a multi-faceted club. This FA was more diverse than ever in competitions, writing, and gaming than ever before.
  • Unfortunately DQs were up this Fleet Action with a total of 16. Please read instructions carefully! This may not seem like a lot in the grand scheme of 800+ entries, but its more than we want. We very much want everyone to be rewarded for their efforts and not kiboshed over a technicality.

Battlefield Promotions

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Fleet Action without battlefield promotions. Congratulations to:

  • Task Force 17: Lieutenant Commander Jabir Tior to the rank of Commander
  • Task Force 47: Midshipman Kammus Corelli to the rank of Ensign
  • Task Force 72: Lieutenant Commander Ginsh to the rank of Commander
  • Task Force 86: Commander Jason Devron to the rank of Captain
  • Task Force 93: Commander Roger Allen to the rank of Captain
  • Executive: Captain Tavek to the rank of Fleet Captain

Prestige Grants

And now, for the first time ever, prestige grants for the Fleet Actions! For Task Forces, prestige is a percentage of the total score out of a grant piggy bank of 200,000 prestige. For individuals, it is a hard number for placing first, second, and third.

  • Task Force 17: 72,000 prestige
  • Task Force 47: 36,000 prestige
  • Task Force 72: 38,000 prestige
  • Task Force 86: 30,000 prestige
  • Task Force 93: 12,000 prestige
