Six Words of Fear

Description

There are many things that can fill a Starfleet officer with worry.

They might have nightmares of a nerve-wracking Greek letter that appears on every screen out of nowhere.
Or maybe a chorus of Collective voices haunts their dreams?
Perhaps the simple trill of a tribble is enough to cause a cold sweat?

Share with us a moment or an experience that fills your captain with a fear they’d rather forget in exactly six words.

Six-word stories are a form of flash fiction that tells an entire story in exactly six words, leaving the reader to imagine the rest of the narrative. The most famous example is Ernest Hemmingway’s “For sale: baby shoes, never worn”. More examples of six-word stories can be found here.
