The Ortiz – class corvette, USS Lysander, is assigned to duty with Task Force 47.
On secondment from Starfleet Intelligence, the mercurial Lieutenant Commander Amanda Forsythe has assembled an unorthodox crew of misfits to meet the dynamic vessel’s core mission to respond to ‘Special Circumstances’.
The galaxy has become a more uncertain place if anything and the Pathfinding effort in the Thomar Expanse and beyond has done nothing to reassure the United Federation of Planets as to the intentions of the polities and powers it has recently re-established diplomatic contact with.
Able to independently pursue covert intelligence – gathering or transport specialist teams to perform surveillance and observation deployments, the USS Lysander lives up to its namesake of old and dares to venture where others will not.
The Copernicus– class station, Starbase 271, is situated in the Eos System – block and provides Border Patrol support to vessels policing the Federation/Romulan Free States border in the Beta Quadrant.
The Ortiz– class corvette, USS Lysander is attached to Starbase 271 and seconded to duty with Starfleet Intelligence, tasked with providing Intelligence – gathering on the races encountered during the Pathfinding operations of the Task Force.
