Summary
Short, bald, pugnacious are words that instantly come to mind when first encountering the irascible Tellarite Chief Engineer, Lieutenant Tulloch Poch, whose vocabulary of curse – words seems almost extensive as his mastery of EPS – distribution protocols.
A consummate Starfleet Engineer who relishes the chance to maintain such a “Show – Pony” vessel as the USS Lysander, Poch is fiercely protective of both ‘his’ ship and ‘his’ engineering crew and seems to reserve the pinnacle of his ire for the captain, who he sourly maintains was only put in the Galaxy to cause injury to the ship’s finely – tuned systems.
Appearance
Tulloch Poch is a male Tellarite in his 30th year. Standing some 5ft 5ins tall, Poch is bald headed and has a dark beard, just beginning to show some grey. He is stocky and solidly built and is the kind of engineer that always has his sleeves rolled up and is disappearing into a Jefferies tube to remedy some ill.
Personality
Tulloch Poch is gruff, confrontational and not afraid to speak his mind.
The engineers serving above him value him for his engineering skills and acumen, but also are wary of his formidable temper and know better to answer back to the Chief, let they incur his legendary ire.
Despite all of the above, he has a robust and bawdy sense of humour and tends not to hold grudges for too long.
