The USS Solvang, rebuilt after her destruction in 2380 at the hands of a Pakled clumpship is back in service and ready for duty. Her crew will be faced with many strange curioddities and fascinating peculiarosities, as they explore new ways to help not only humanity, but also alienity as well.

Solvang is a California-class starship in Command Support configuration. Command Support variants, which are the least common for the California-class, have luxurious diplomatic quarters and special accommodations for flag officers, due to being frequently used to transport dignitaries within the Federation. Command Support variants have red paint, of which Solvang has in abundance.
