Several starships have rendezvoused near Tranquility Station to participate in a set of Joint Fleet Exercises. The vessels will practice full spectrum operations of space combat with a smaller ground component in concert with several Other Federation Agencies(OFAs)

The Lakota Squadron, Trenton Squadron, IKS Da’kaarn USS Hope, and USS Plato will all participate, performing their own specific training as well as joint allied exercizes.

Tranquil Dawn Phase 1- Convoy escort scenario. The Trenton, and Lakota Squadrons will perform a sublight escort mission through a nebula, while the Klingon and Romulan vessels will try to destroy a cargo convoy(represented by various auxiliary vessels)

Tranquil Dawn Phase 2- CIMIC operations scenario. The ‘fleet’ is called to support a group of Federations Provosts and OFAs on a planet that are under attack by a large force of raiders (represented by the elite ground troops from the Da’kaarn and the Vor’nak in orbit). A group of auxiliary craft is used to deploy a relief force including the SMU and reinforcements from several vessels tactical departments and land them on the surface. Meanwhile the rest of the Starfleet vessels will prepare for the final phase.

Tranquil Dawn Phase 3- Fleet Engagement scenario. To run concurrent with the end of Phase 2. The premise is for the raiding fleet (Da’kaarn, Slivin, Malem, Vor’nak and auxiliaries) to try and defend its troops on the surface, while the Lakota and Trenton Sqns try to break the seige snd a general engagement ensues.

The training serials for Phases 1 and 2 may run over in multiple iterations and training evolutions. Phase 3 is a one-off space combat engagement.

OPI(Officer of Primary Importance), Captain Tyrone Carver- Notionally in command of the Ex. A Starfleet Command staff officer responsible for creating and planning the training.

Training Standards Officer, LCdr Lucas Paccelli- Leader of the group of ‘Lane Graders’ and ‘Training Safety Officers’ who will observe and score the participants during the training.

Senior Range Safety Observer, Lt. Steve Dunoon- Operations Officer responsible for the team of Range Observers responsible for ensuring the training is conducted in a safe and effective manner.
