“Be like the sun in generosity and kindness.” – Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī

The galaxy is not short of pains that need tending to, and from the utopian core worlds of the Federation to the farthest reaches of uncharted space, it is a universal constant that there are always those in need. The crew of Avicenna know this truth all too well, for they have made it their life’s purpose to see these wounds healed, though the list is ever-growing.  Recently assigned to the Ascension Emissary Division as it begins its work in the Former Demilitarised Zone, Avicenna now focuses on providing regular goodwill and support missions to the region’s outposts and colonies in the hopes that their deeds might prove the promise of the diplomats.

Aboard Avicenna, the work is rarely glamorous, but it has never needed to be.

Typhon Wayfinding Squadron

“Dawn after dawn.”

Tasked with pushing the boundaries of Federation space, the Typhon Wayfinding Squadron serves the Fourth Fleet across three distinct theatres of operation. From the politically charged corridors of the Former Demilitarised Zone to the uncharted reaches of the Shackleton Expanse, each command carries the Federation’s message into spaces where its presence is either desperately needed or entirely new.

Led from the USS Typhon, the squadron’s work is rarely simple and never finished. Diplomats, explorers and cartographers in equal measure, the crewmembers of the Typhon Wayfinding Squadron rise each morning to meet the next horizon — dawn after dawn.
