The Starfleet Medal of Commendation is awarded once a year to players who show extreme dedication and resilience to their task force and Bravo Fleet as a whole. This medal, given on Gene Roddenberry’s birthday, recognizes those in our community who go above and beyond their call to service.
December 2018: USS Mercury;
The USS Mercury was the most active simulation in the Task Force for the fourth quarter of 2018. Her crew is active and consistent in their posting. The TFSS looks forward to seeing where they go in 2019.
I would like to recommend USS Mercury for ‘sim of the month.’ I took a moment to look around the site and found it interesting as well as complete. While the wiki only handles the basics, I liked the setup and I really liked how they included a timeline of events (something I’ve been wanting to do). The writing was interesting and it seems that the players are involved.
July 2018 – USS Mercury
USS Mercury has the popular vote for sim of the month. It’s a new Discovery era sim and Captain Vin lek Sholorn has came out swinging with a half a dozen posts for the first month.
Captain Garridan Rismore, Commanding Officer USS Jericho: Task Force 9: JP is the only CO that has without interruption been a part of Task Force 9 ever since I first joined as TFXO several years ago. Throughout the years he has consistently led the Jericho in good and bad times and while real life circumstances have forced him to cut down on his simming obligations he has definitely left an impact on the Task Force for years to come.
Everyone join me in congratulating our winners They have worked hard and earned their places in Bravo Fleets Hall of Honor.
JP is one of the most talented writers I’ve ever had the pleasure of writing with. Every chance I get to write with him, I jump at the opportunity to tell another story with him. Even the most casual of prompts turns into something that you can’t stop reading until you reach the end.
Since my arrival in Bravo Fleet in 2012, I have seen JP in many arenas. JP himself is always the same person, an excellent writer, an exemplary Commanding Officer, and one of the most creative individuals I’ve ever met. If anyone deserves this award, it is JP.
