Raymond had had an exhausting day, going over star charts with the team and getting everything sorted out with his command team for the upcoming shore leave. Things were shaping up nicely, but there was still so much to do. The perks of being a Captain, Raymond thought.
Leaving the meeting room, Raymond made his way to his quarters on the third deck. He thought about stopping by the officer’s lounge, but ultimately decided against it. He needed some time to himself to regroup.
Entering his quarters, Raymond let out a sigh. It was always nice to return here after a long day. While his quarters were not as large as those of other ships, say like the Galaxy class, they felt like his own personal space. Raymond made his way over to his replicator.
“Large Vanilla Latte, hot,” Raymond commanded, and once it materialized, he made his way to the couch and sat down. Glancing at the coffee table, he realized he should really continue reading his book, but he just was not in the mood. It was then that something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye.
“What the…” Raymond exclaimed as something furry began moving towards the door. He did not have any pets, and on closer inspection, it seemed to be a tribble. But there was not just one; looking around, he saw four or five of them in various places around the room.
“Raymond to Reid, have there been any reports of tribbles in places they aren’t supposed to be?” Ramond asked.
“Yes, Captain, I am receiving reports ship-wide of tribbles everywhere,” Reid replied.
“Meet me in my ready room. I am heading there now. Also, consult with the department heads and find out what is happening.”
“Aye, Sir,” Reid replied, and the communication dropped.
Welp, there would be no rest, it seemed. Raymond returned his coffee cup to the replicator and made his way back out of his quarters. Another day as a ship Captain it was.

Great work buddy!
