In the summer of 2403, the Polaris arrives in the Colludia system, not on account of the next interstellar crisis, but rather on orders to take a breather. As part of the Fourth Fleet’s Shore Leave initiative, the flotilla finds itself among dozens of other units that have converged on the system for some much needed R&R. While the crew splits up, some off to enjoy the culture of the Colludean capital, others to explore the many curious worlds of the Colludia system, and the rest to reconnect with old friends on other ships assembled in the system, the command staff of the newly-established flotilla goes on an off-site to a tundra island on the outermost habitable planet in the system.
