Part of Bravo Fleet: Nightfall

USS Constellation - USS Odyssey

Loneliness is Killing

Night is falling over the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. In the depths of the Delta Quadrant, Constellation Squadron is too far from home to turn off the dark.

Mission Description

At the dawn of 2402, Constellation Squadron ventured through the Barzan Wormhole to explore the depths of the Delta Quadrant and deepen diplomatic relationships with its denizens.  Led by the Constitution III-class explorer Constellation, Constellation Squadron was comprised of the Defiant-class escort, Meridian, the Dunderstadt-class fast cruiser scout, Minerva, and the Sutherland-class research cruiser, Almagest.

By April 2402, Constellation Squadron began scouting the Nacene Reach, where the USS Voyager encountered some of its fiercest antagonists during its voyage home in the 2370s.  Captain Taes received a one-way subspace message through a microwormhole, using Project Pathfinder technology.  The message from Fourth Fleet Command advised of subspace Blackouts inhibiting warp travel and long-range communication & sensors in seemingly random patches and zones all over the Alpha and Beta Quadrant.  And now, an army of the Vaadwaur Supremacy have pounced out of Underspace to attack and invade every civilization across both quadrants, including the Federation.

The orders for Constellation Squadron are to build alliances for the goal of repelling the Vaadwaur.  And Constellation isn’t alone in the Delta Quadrant.  Odyssey Squadron has received the same orders too.

USS Constellation: Loneliness is Killing

Captain’s Log, Supplemental. It’s over. We made it. I’m over. In a shared ultimatum, Commodore James McCallister and I offered the Vaadwaur Supremacy a choice on behalf of Starfleet and the Delta Coalition. We offered to cease our hostilities if they agreed to a ceasefire and a [...]

USS Constellation: Loneliness is Killing

Yuulik tried her best not to raise her eyes from the Science I station. Positioned beside flight control, she was positioned the nearest to the transparent viewscreen, and any attempt to make sense of what she was seeing outside felt like a descent into madness. It was chaos. It was abstract [...]

USS Odyssey (NCC-80000) Smirking a lot, McCallister was partly enjoying the start of this call. “Admiral Janeway sends her regards,” He paused as he knew he needed to extend this conversation. “I’m Commodore James Preston McCallister; I represent the United Federation of Planets and the [...]
