Having successfully offloaded their Ferengi prisoner the USS Jaxartes can get back to finishing her current patrol.

Now more than ever with the threat of possible conflict and dark shadows looming; Jason Devron wishes he was on a bigger more powerful ship.  How else could he possibly hope to defend this region of space if something big was to happen?  What more does he and his small crew need to prove?  There is a limit to what a Raven Class Corvette can do; but then they’ve had a habit of pushing beyond that limit.  She’s been high jacked, fired upon several times, had hull plating ripped away and sections of her interior smashed, yet still remained space worthy, just about.  So may be for now the stubborn old girl is in the best possible hands.

Jason couldn’t ask for a better crew than those he has by his side, they’ve worked remarkably well under all the strains and pressures of a year only two thirds gone.  They’d probably follow him to hell and back, after everything else they’ve gone through together.  But is hell ready for them?

Meanwhile the training is over and the Olympic Class hospital ship USS Chapel has been cleared to return to active service.  Most of her crew has barely learned how to walk; as her Captain would so wonderfully put it.  Now they need to hit the ground running.  Though given the current state of things, the Cardassian boarder probably wouldn’t be anyone’s pick for a first mission!
