Task Force 93 Report #1

June 22, 2025

It feels like just yesterday I stepped into the role of Task Force XO, and what an incredible journey it’s been. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with many of the amazing members of 93, the Ninetiers, especially through that whirlwind of a Fleet Action — six weeks of creativity, energy, and memorable storytelling. I couldn’t be prouder of 93 and the rest of Bravo Fleet for showing up, supporting, and encouraging one another.

Task Force Updates

Now that I have the honor of stepping into my position, I want to thank my predecessor, Fleet Captain Cliff Pryce. They have been an incredible mentor and leader during their time in 93.  I know I have some big shoes to fill, but I will get there in time. We also had Kerbero step down as a Task Group Commanding Officer and want to thank them for all they did during their time in leadership at 93. Most recently, we welcomed Meila into the 93 family as the Task Group Commander of TG44.  They bring a ton of energy and excitement into the role. I know they will be a great addition to the Ninetiers.

We also greeted several new arrivals to the Task Force please join us in extending a warm welcome to:

Fiction Updates

Neptune Advance Exploration Squadron – Mirage Station had only just begun to find its feet when the dastardly Vaadwuar launched their plan in operation Nightfall. The galaxy was forced to fight for survival, and the crew of DS-27 were no exception as they were forced to keep the beacon alight at the edge of known space. Not even this last frontier escaped the machinations of the Vaadwuar and Captain Carzon had to make choices that will change the fabric of the frontier.  Whilst their colleagues aboard the base fight to hold the line, USS Neptune, USS Tianwen and USS Hydra rush to rendezvous with their Task Force allies. Massively outnumbered against the surprise invasion force, Neptune Squadron must lean on unorthodox tactics to make it through to the Nightfall. When the only option seems to be to play dead, Mirage Station is left alone.

Phoenix Frontier Squadron – After an ion storm disables Eos Station, the Vaadwaur launch a coordinated attack, exploiting the station’s chaos to seize control. As the station falls and key Officers are lost, Captain Harris is forced to confront the reality of a battle they can’t win. Reinforcements arrive just in time to evacuate some of the survivors as the battle shifts from victory to survival. In the aftermath, the crew regroups, but their home is in ruins. Severely damaged, the cost of rebuilding might be too high.

USS CheyenneAfter a dash to the Romulan border to support the Republic against the Vaadwuar invasion, the crew of Cheyenne find themselves embroiled in an investigation that is both confusing and familiar. An old foe is whispering on the edges of Cosia and the crew of Cheyenne find themselves with a choice when it becomes clear that dark deeds are afoot.

USS San Jose – Lost in subspace and without a clear leader, the crew of San Jose must do the best with a bad hand as they attempt to head back towards the Federation. Unfortunately, the Blackout lies between here and there.

USS San DiegoThe freighter Najm Almusafir calls for aid and the crew of San Diego find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place when they must provide aid whilst ensuring the safety of their flight of freighters.  Things only go from bad to worse when it becomes clear they are not alone in what they thought was a sanctuary, and their adversaries don’t know the meaning of mercy.

USS Sternbach – The crew of Sternbach walk a fine line where the prime directive and reality clash. The choice is unenviable, but Crosshaullauer and crew seek the narrow path between the Romulan Republic’s needs, Starfleet’s Regulations, and the curious eyes of the planet’s natives. In the end, the world and the crew will be left changed by their time amongst the flyers.
