Hello Bravo Fleet!
A couple of days ago, Commander Sazra Kobahl (better known to everyone as RaWolfe) shared his resignation as Task Force 86 Commanding Officer due to unforeseen personal circumstances. We have enjoyed seeing RaWolfe’s develop from TFXO to TFCO and the impressive hard work he has put into our members. He has been utterly amazing; however, as we always say, real life does come first. So on behalf of everyone, thank you RaWolfe, for your time as one of our leaders. We wish you all the best and are pleased you will remain active as a member.
New Task Force 86 Commanding Officer
Succeeding RaWolfe as Task Force 86’s new commanding officer will be Commander Theo Barrington (aka Heidi), formerly of Task Force 47. We know from Heidi’s work in Task Force 47 in engaging our members and supporting them with their activity that this move to being Task Force Commanding Officer is the right step in the right direction. Funnily enough, Heidi shared with me earlier that Task Force 86 is where they started originally when they joined Bravo Fleet. We wish Heidi all the best as they join Maddox in Task Force 86.
New Task Force 47 Executive Officer Needed!
With Heidi’s appointment, we now have a vacancy for a new Task Force 47 Executive Officer. So if you are keen to join Fleet Captain Alexandra Sudari-Kravchik (also known as McGig) and work with him to lead the fine members of TF47, please complete this form by Saturday, 25th March 2023. If we find a suitable candidate before the deadline, we may appoint them early. Please ensure you complete the form in full detail. We hope to announce who the new Task Force Executive Officer is soon.
When applying, it is crucial that you understand what it means to be a Task Force Executive Officer. Task Force Executive Officers are the deputy leaders of the five Task Forces. They share the responsibility for developing a sense of camaraderie in their units, organising competitions, and helping members navigate the rank system by nominating the appropriate OCS rewards for their activity. They are also members of Bravo Fleet Command, where they have a voice in the overall direction of the fleet. Subordinate to the Bravo Fleet Operations Officer, they work in partnership with their TFCOs to ensure consistent opportunities for members to get involved across the fleet. TFXOs must also be exemplars of activity by demonstrating at least moderately strong activity levels and participating conscientiously on Discord. Generally speaking, a member should be at least a Lieutenant Commander to apply to this position, demonstrating familiarity with Bravo Fleet. Previous staff experience is not required.
We are looking for candidates who have the time to take on these roles; they will be the type of people who want to give back to our community and ensure our members have a great time. In return, we can provide you with training and support to understand your new role. In addition, we can provide you with a friendly, supportive team on the BFC that works closely together to strive to provide the best Star Trek community experience on the internet. So if this is right up your market, please contact me via Discord or apply via the above form.
