The USS Himalaya is one of the few SCE ships being deployed near the Klingon borders and functions as a maintenance ship that can do repairs and tow duties in the field. The ship is under command under a veteran engineer that had been challenged more then ones to be creative in the field, Commander Valerio. With his crew he will patrol and perform engineering duties along the Klingon borders.
