Lieutenant Commander William Harris Jr

Dossier →

Commodore William Hood

William is a considerate but analytical sort. He doesn’t rush into action without considering his options especially when it effects others. Friendly and supportive, tending towards an open door policy on his commands to allow his crew feel they can be heard. While he may not have aced his Academy days he had developed a sturdy and time proven skill set for command. He’s an accomplished diplomat and a capable tactician should the need arise, a patient when required.

He does however know how to take a risk if absolutely called for one. He likes to see those around him succeed but he wont hold the hand and carry the weight to see them do it. Growth and development comes from within and hes a believer of it.

William if pushed can be somewhat harsh with his actions, he will defend the weak

Captain Xanthe Rahal

Xanthe, when stripped away of all her layers her job requires her to present to people is a charming, affable woman who prefers company of close friends and loved ones and a quiet night in rather than being out in public. Unfortunately, said job rarely affords her the opportunity to meet and nurture such relationships. As such the persona most people get to see is that of a meticulous, calculated, sharp woman with a bit of a pedantic edge to her.

Even then she can be charming and affable and the life of the party, as the situation requires (as she is a talented actress who can pull off nearly any persona that is required of her), but she is ever watchful, ever analyzing, ready to change tact at moments notice.

Yaltar

Yaltar is a young male Cardassian Starfleet Officer. He is one of very few Cardassian Officers in Starfleet. His own species consider him a traitor for joining the Federation and he has been ostracised from his own people and family. Yaltar grew up in a typical Cardassian home where he learned the art of having a photo memory and was given a Cardassian education during his younger years.

When Yaltar was 8 years old, while onboard a Cardassian freighter that was attacked, he remained the only surviving person aboard the ship by hiding in a cargo supply box when the ship was boarded and the people aboard massacred. Yaltar was rescued by a Federation Starship and after several failed attempts at trying to return him to his own people, was adopted by one of the officers aboard the ship.

Lieutenant Commander Yasha Veselovsky

Yakov, or Yasha to anyone who is actually on a first name basis with him, has been a nurse for 20 years, although only the last 8 of them have been with the fleet. Before joining the fleet, he received a Doctorate of Practical Nursing from the Oregon Health Sciences University of Earth, while also serving as a residential ward nurse at St. Jude Children’s Hospital. He later spent three years in “private practice” in a remote Siberian village. Since joining the fleet, he has served as the head of general nursing on Starbase 156, and the Head Nurse for the USS Valiant and USS Scorpio. He has been called upon by Captain Alice Griffin to assume the role of Chief Medical Officer to bring stability and normalcy to the department.

Lieutenant Commander Yidam Sulani

As the daughter of a religious family on Bajor, Yidam Sulani had been taught to seek balance in life and an inner peace in the teachings of the Prophets. Having served at Starfleet Medical, on space stations and starships, she has developed a flexibility in her approaches to patients. The most distinctive aspect of her practice is the use of companion animals (real and holographic) with patients. Her current assistant is “Bix”, an Earth canine. She is also specially certified to practice Tribble Therapy and has two tribbles aboard Venture. As Venture’s Head Counselor, Lani is approachable and open, a great listener and a sympathetic soul. She is not a pushover and will demand that her patients, co-workers and those with whom she is working apply themselves to the task at hand.

Lieutenant Zayn Satu

Raised by her aunt and uncle on Earth, Satu always knew she wanted to be a doctor like her Aunt, but was unsure of going into Starfleet. After two years in a civilian med school, Satu knew she had to switch to Starfleet Medical if she wanted a good, unbiased education. After graduation, Satu was assigned to the USS Juliard, where she found herself away from her family for the first time. Three years later, she was transferred to the USS Horatio. Unfortunately, in late 2388, the Horatio encountered unfriendly forces and in the ensuing battle, Satu was severely injured, losing her left leg. Six months later, with a biosynthetic leg, she was surprised to be sent back to active duty aboard the USS Medea as Chief Medical Officer

Commander Zelea Arlidd

A very dedicated Starfleet Officer, Zelea’s background as a Starfleet Engineer has been very rewarding for the Bolian. She followed in all three of her parents footsteps as engineers and tinkerers and made one of her co-fathers very proud when her Commanding Officer offered her a promotion to Executive Officer after noticing her leadership skills.

Dossier →

Lieutenant Zen Mesper

Zen, in many respects, is a strange Starfleet officer to serve on a starship as famous as the Venture. He is not bold or assertive, nor is he reputed as a great leader. He rarely catches the eye of his superior officers, and with the exception of his service in the Dominion War, Zen’s service record is undistinguished. The vast majority of Zen’s achievements have been academic, and he has gained fame as an anthropologist as well as a scientific polymath in general. By all rights, Zen should be on a starbase or an outpost, or be a professor at a distinguished university on one of the Federation’s core worlds.

However, Zen has Capellan blood in his veins and Capellan culture in his heart…and he has the soul of an adventurer.

Lieutenant Commander Zharra Neerassi

Zhara is very much an Orion, despite having been raised in a pro-Federation, pro-democratic family. She is fiercely intelligent and cunning, and learns easily. As such she has picked up the art of trade from her mother and her father’s investigative skill with ease, adapting the art to suit her own needs and desires. As such her morals are fluid, but so far she has kept her loyalty to Starfleet and whatever crew she served with above her personal goals and motivations. While she disagrees wholeheartedly with the slave trade her people still so readily engage in, she does understand the underlying desires and motivations behind it. Just as much as she has learned to understand war and the way of the Federation and most importantly Starfleet.

Lieutenant Commander Zork

The same Zork from TF72, however twelve years older and twelve years more jaded by the utter destruction the Borg have wrought across the galaxy in the Futility’s End Universe. Tough, astute, capable, and a prime example of what the Ferengi could become at the dawn of this new era. While he has decided that exploration and rebuilding efforts are the best course of action for the Federation, he struggles to maintain the idealism of prewar Starfleet in the post-apocalyptic reality of the Alpha Quadrant.
