Alongside the rest of Lakota Squadron, the Osiris embarks on a warp-speed journey into the depths of the Beta Quadrant. However, their voyage takes an unexpected turn when they intercept a distress call from the USS Guardian, an Inquiry-class heavy cruiser. The message is fragmented, but what they hear sends chills down their spines – “a Borg vessel.”

Racing to the Guardian‘s last known location, the Osiris discovers the ship in dire straits, severely damaged, and her crew locked in a desperate battle to salvage their vessel. Osiris quickly takes the Guardian under tow, knowing that they need to escape the area to reach the safety of the nearest starbase, but they soon realise that they are not alone. A menacing threat looms with a Borg Sphere in hot pursuit, a high-stakes game of cat and mouse ensuing as the Osiris crew fights to outrun and outwit their formidable adversary…
