In the middle of a first contact scenario in a hostile star system, USS Atlantis suffers a command level lockout even Captain Theodoras can’t lift. With no recourse and months from any actual rescue, overtures to Command are made for any assistance they can render. Just what could bring down a modern Federation starship?
