Operations Office Report #1 – Updates, New TFCO’s, and Task Force Staff Wanted

January 1, 2025

Happy New Year, and welcome in 2402, Bravo Fleet!

Recent developments have thrust me into the role of your friendly neighborhood Bravo Fleet Operations Officer, and it’s both an honor and a responsibility that I’m eager to take on, and I can’t wait to get started. First and foremost, I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Azras Dex (Leah) for her years of dedicated service, leadership, and hard work that has helped shape Bravo Fleet into what it is today. Leah, you’ve set the bar high, and I know I have big shoes to fill, but I’m ready to take on this challenge with enthusiasm and commitment.

In my new role, I look forward to working alongside the incredible Task Force Staff and Senior Staff members who make Bravo Fleet what it is. Together, we’ll continue to elevate the experience for everyone in the fleet, ensuring that it remains smooth, engaging, and, most importantly, fun. I’m here to serve all of you, and I’m excited to work collaboratively toward making this a truly awesome year for Bravo Fleet.

Now, I have a few important updates to share with you:

‘New’ Task Force Commanding Officers

As many of you may have already seen in Teylas’ announcement last week, we have some exciting changes within the Task Force Command. Mamof (Also, Mamof) and Trevenan Williams (James) will be taking over as the new Commanding Officers of their respective Task Forces. I’d like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to both Mamof and James for these well-earned promotions! Both have demonstrated exceptional leadership, and I’m thrilled to work closely with them as we move forward.

Additionally, in stepping into my new role, I will also be taking on the position of Task Force 93 Commanding Officer, fully immersing myself in the footsteps of my predecessor. This will be an exciting challenge for me, and I look forward to leading Task Force 93 through its next chapter.

To complete the leadership shuffle, I’m excited to announce that Luke Duncan (MJ) will be temporarily stepping in to take over the role of Task Force 17 Commanding Officer while I transition. MJ brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the position, and I’m confident that Task Force 17 will continue to thrive under his leadership during this interim period.

Task Force Staff Applications

As a result of these changes, there are now several open positions within our Task Force leadership structure, specifically within the Executive Officer roles. This creates a great opportunity for anyone looking to get more involved in the leadership of Bravo Fleet.

In particular, I’d like to invite those of you who are interested in stepping into the role of Task Force Executive Officer to apply. Even if you’re unsure whether this position is the right fit for you, I encourage you to apply anyway. We’re also opening up applications for Task Group Commanding Officer roles, which are an excellent entry point for anyone interested in leadership. These positions will give you a behind-the-scenes look at how the Task Force operates. If it feels like a good fit, you’ll gradually take on more responsibilities and can work toward stepping into higher leadership positions within the Task Force.

If you’re interested in applying for a Task Force Executive Officer or Task Group Commanding Officer role, we encourage you to submit your application by clicking here. In your application, please let us know which positions you’re most interested in and why you think you’d be a good fit. If you have any questions about the roles or the application process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly or to your resident Task Force Commanding Officer.

Applications will be open until the end of the day on January 12th, server time. This gives you a bit of time to consider the roles and submit your application.

We’re looking forward to seeing who steps forward to help lead Bravo Fleet into 2402 and beyond!
