New Deputy Engineering Officer

I’m pleased to announce a new addition to the Engineering Office! Deckard Wright, one of Bravo Fleet’s former Internet Officers, is rejoining the team as the Deputy Engineering Officer!

Vince spoke about the work the Engineering Office will take on in the coming year, and we do indeed have big things planned for the future of the BFMS! As Vince said, our current WP-based BFMS just wasn’t built for all of the activities and features Bravo Fleet requires. We’ve been able to mold it to fit our needs for now, but our hope is to build a brand new, custom system from the ground-up. This new system will automate many of the tasks in the BFMS, making it easier for staff and members alike to participate in and run fleet activities. Our new Deputy Engineer’s experience with programming and software development will be instrumental in shaping this future of the Bravo Fleet Management System, and I’m very excited to have him back on the team! Big changes are coming, and while we’re still in the early phases of development, we can’t wait to introduce you all to the new BFMS!
