One of the two most important responsibilities that Bravo Fleet Command is tasked with is the appointment and continued confirmation of the Bravo Fleet Commanding Officer and Bravo Fleet Judge Advocate General. Back in May, the Electorate of Bravo Fleet Command approved me for another one-year term as BFCO. As we are approaching the deadline for the end of Commodore Max Barrick‘s (Slagar) term as Bravo Fleet JAG, I renominated Slagar for another term, which unanimously passed.
The Bravo Fleet JAG is not an easy position to hold. In my previous announcement for Slagar’s initial appointment to the position, I highlighted that it is very much an Elder Statesman type of position. Someone who is intimately familiar with Bravo Fleet’s rules, policies, and membership. Someone with the temperament to know how to handle difficult situations that often arise yet has the vision for creating a precedent that could affect Bravo Fleet for years. Slagar has continued to show day in and day out that he is that person who can dutifully serve as Bravo Fleet JAG and go above and beyond in assisting the fleet in judicial matters.
Congratulations on another term!
