Bravo Fleet Space Cadet!

Trigger Discipline, Situational Awareness, Focus and Control, and Critical Thinking. In children’s games all across the galaxy, we try to instill core life mechanics into recreational activities to help shape the skills they need to thrive in adulthood. The “Space Cadet” application is no different. Recovered from ancient earth archives, this pastime quickly became a critical sensation with pre-warp, industrial civilizations, and even today’s society!

If you owned a Windows 95 PC, then you know this game well. Space Cadet is a 3D Pinball machine that came free with all Windows OS in the early 90’s. the premise was simple enough: launch the ball into the arena, and use the bumpers to keep the ball in play as it bounces off of various obstacles, racking up points!

This round, we shall keep things simple! Highest Score submitted wins! So break out the nostalgia gear and slap the paddles to victory!

 

PLAY INSTRUCTIONS:
Controls: You can actually key-bind your own trigger commands in the ‘Options’ Menu; however, basic controls are [Space] to Launch, [Z] for Left Bumper, and [/] for Right Bumper!

WARNING: There is a known bug when it comes to “Launching” the ball. Sometimes a fully charged hit won’t register. Unable to work around it, just give it half a hit to get it in play, and you’re good!

In full-screen mode on Mobile, you have 5 unmarked buttons. Bottom Right for Right Bumper, Bottom Left for Left Bumper, Middle for Launch.

Criteria

• Participants can only submit (1) an In-Game Screenshot showing their highest score!
• Submissions will be judged on the highest score submitted.
• In the event of a tie, the tie-breaker will be selected based on submission date.
