The Spooks of Starfleet

We all know that making biographies is one of the most intricate and interesting parts of making our stories come to life. Without the characters as the lifeblood stories would not go anywhere.

The challenge here is to write a character in Starfleet Intelligence, while I know they aren’t called spooks the name seemed clever. So the goal here is to write a character that works in intelligence and has a background to fit the character.

The more interesting and creative the background the better! As someone who worked in intelligence and that’s all I can say. I like to see the creativity of others. So show me the best character you got!

Criteria

• Write a robust, fleshed-out biography of one of your command's intelligence officers. This can be the Chief or Deputy Chief. A Maximum rank of Commander can be used.
• This biography must be created after this competition opens and before it closes, so there is no reusing of existing characters. This will be judged based on the publication date of the character within the BFMS.
• The biography must be complete, with something in the overview, personality, appearance, service record, and image fields. (The quality of the image used will not be assessed in judging.)
• The biography will be assessed on its uniqueness, the mechanical/stylistic strength of the writing, the appropriateness for the setting and genre of Star Trek, and the realism of the character's history, service record, abilities, and personality vis a vis characters seen on screen.
• Using generative AI in this competition is forbidden.
