Attached to duty at Deep Space 47 the Saber – class scout, USS Kusanagi is tasked with supporting the Pathfinder missions of Task Force 47 and providing Border Patrol and Reconnaissance duties.

Commanded by Lieutenant Commander Mads Henrikson, the Kusanagi fields a tight – knit but relatively junior crew who are as dedicated to their venerable craft as they are to their mission.

Whilst not typically assigned the most glamourous missions, the work performed by this agile little ship is no less important and the Thomar Expanse is a place of both wonder and great danger.
