The USS Wells is based out of Starbase 86 and serves Starfleet in the Triangle as a deep-space patrol, recon, transport, and recovery missions to aid and assist those within the region. Specifically chosen for its non-threatening configuration and speed, the Wells does its best to represent Starfleet well in a region often forgotten and overlooked by the larger galaxy.
