Physical Description

Lean, handsome, and captivating Lieutenant Johnson comes in at 5’9″ (175 cm). He has a lean build only weighing 141 lbs (63 kg). Johnson has black hair in a small afro and dark brown eyes.

While on duty, Johnson is found wearing the standard Starfleet uniform, while off duty, he usually dresses in more relaxed clothing wearing a basic black t-shirt, grey sweatpants, and black athletic shoes.

Personality

Most would describe Johnson as a boy scout who always chooses the right thing to do over the easy thing. He is dedicated to his work and his accomplishments have not made him egocentric or prideful. He enjoys knowledge to empower and encourage his colleagues. His level of professionalism is high, however he is known to ease up on this during social events. He values all his friendships and will do anything for his family; the same goes for his fellow officers and those put under his leadership.

Strength & Weakness

Johnson is an exceptional scientist, being a quick thinker, he is someone who any Starfleet captain can depend upon to come up with a solution to any scientific problem he comes across. His skill and knowledge in the science fields was an interest that started when he was a young boy on Earth. His out-of-the-box sometimes unorthodox thinking compliments his problem-solving skills; he is a diligent and hardworking officer. His innovative solutions and dedication have made him an accomplished scientist and Starfleet officer. Exceptional at his job, Johnson has become one of the leading scientists in the field of astrophysics.

During his years at the Academy he became known to overwork himself by overdoing simple work, but as his career went on he was able to find a balance between his personal life and his career, since finding said balance the tension between the two has eased.

Ambitions

Originally wanted to return to Starfleet Academy to become a professor, however since he has come into the field he has turned his focus into one day having command of his vessel and later following in his parents’ footsteps and joining the admiralty hopeful to become Head of Starfleet Science. At this point in his career, Johnson is quite satisfied with the work he has done so far, but sometimes he would have hoped to be a commander or at the very least a lieutenant commander by this point.

Jade Johnson

Lieutenant Commander Jade Johnson (née Westwood) is a Human female Starfleet line officer currently a case officer within Starfleet Intelligence. She is married to Lieutenant Gideon Johnson with whom she has two children; Dianne and Marcus. Lieutenant Commander Johnson is a skilled operative and is very passionate about her work. She has friends in high places throughout the Alpha and Beta Quadrants ones that she can rely on if she is ever in need of assistance. She and her husband have been going through a rough patch in their marriage since Gideon took the position of Starbase Bravo. This has caused some arguments between the two of them and has but a stain on their relationship overall.

Katelyn Johnson

Admiral Dr. Katelyn Johnson is a Human female Starfleet flag officer currently in a senior position in Starfleet Medical. She is married to Rear Admiral David Johnson with whom she had three children; Tiana, Gideon, and Evelynn. Admiral Johnson is a skilled doctor who is passionate about her work, She has a compassionate soul who takes the time to listen to her children’s concerns and make them feel heard. That all said, her colleagues (and even her family) enjoy her wit and dry humor. Her sarcasm cuts down anyone who dares to challenge her medical professionalism. That said, she does put the needs of her family above anything including herself.

David Johnson

Rear Admiral David Johnson is a Human male Starfleet flag officer and the commanding officer of Deep Space 10. He is married to Admiral Katelyn Johnson with whom he has three kids; Tiana, Gideon, and Evelynn. Admiral Johnson had served in a variety of positions across Starfleet including in the diplomatic corps and intelligence. He tries his best to be active with his kids. However, his efforts are futile due to him living and working away from them. As such Gideon and Evelynn have a somewhat strained relationship but it has slowly gotten better since the two of them have joined Starfleet.

Tiana Johnson

Commander Tiana “Tia” Johnson is a Human female Starfleet line officer and the executive officer of the USS Gora. Gideon and Tia have the closest relationship of Gideon’s. He sees Tia as a guiding light. She has since he can remember always been there for him, offering support, encouragement, and wise advice. He looks up to her with admiration and trusts her implicitly. Whether it was helping with a situation, listening to his problems, or spending time with him, their bond had been unbreakable. His love is unwavering and he knows he can always count on her to be there, no matter what.

Evelynn Johnson

Ensign Evelynn Johnson is a Human female Starfleet line officer who is currently serving on the Deep Space 10 as her father’s Chief of Staff. Gideon and Evelynn’s relationship is the complete opposite of his relationship with Tiana. They have a distant and strained relationship. Gideon suggests that a lack of emotional connection and support is what caused the distance between them. Communication between the two is minimal and is at most times cordial as if they were colleagues and not brother and sister. Despite sharing a family bond, there’s an emotional distance that prevents them from truly understanding one another.
