Summary
Prior to being joined, Tarven Paar was an unassuming man with a keen intellect and a natural talent for engineering. This led him to join Starfleet, where he would specialise in warp systems engineering. During a two-year leave of absence from Starfleet, Tarven underwent initiate training and was eventually joined to the Rix symbiont. The symbiosis commission considered this an excellent match since two of Rix’s five previous hosts were engineers. Tarven returned to Starfleet more self-assured and ambitious than before, ready to push himself out of his comfort zone and embrace new challenges.
