T'Ael

T’Ael is a young Romulan woman who serves as the Chief Engineering Officer aboard the Vondem Rose. Young for her age and with no formal education, T’Ael, like her brother R’tin, are both self-trained or learned on the job, having hitched a berth on a freighter as a means of escaping one of the numerous Romulan refugee camps inside the Federation following the collapse of the Old Romulan Star Empire. Unhindered by training, processes, procedures or having to explain herself to superiors, her methods may seem unorthodox but are highly effective. She rarely talks about her family outside of her brother and crew, having decided all, even the new hires from a few months ago, are all family to her.
