Reyold Huezd

Harsh and perhaps a little too restless, Reyold Huzed has served in the service of the Federation Starfleet for over twenty years.

He was born under the thumb of Cardassian rule in Jalanda City, Bajor, on 1 April 2341 to a pair of resistance fighters. Against all odds, he had to survive in an insane world consumed by depravity and violence.

Following the death of his parents in a Cardassian counterinsurgency skirmish in Hathon Province in 2352, Reyold joined the Bajoran Resistance hellbent on revenge. His relationship with the resistance flowered until the Fall of 2363, when the Cardassians killed his entire operations team on the Perikian Peninsula due to faulty intelligence provided by the local cell.

He vowed to leave the Bajor following that incident and spent much of the following year working on getting smuggled off the planet. He succeeded on a blistering winter day in 2365, leaving Bajor behind forever.

He spent the next fifteen years aboard freighters, learning the intricacies of starship engineering, where he discovered an innate gift in mathematics.

Having tired of the constant monotony of freighter life, he successfully applied for a seat at Starfleet Academy in the class of 2383.
