Summary
Sovalek is a 4th year cadet serving as Rear Admiral Tondro’s yeoman, aboard the USS Ride. Bucking the usual trend for Vulcans, he aggressively pursued this opportunity, forwarding several research papers regarding advanced Exolinguistic Archaeology as well as noted points of interest within the Thomar Expanse.
Appearance
Sovalek keeps his hair less in the typical “Vulcan bowl cut” and lets it grow a little more wild. This is largely due to the fact that he does not really put much thought into his personal appearance as long as it remains professional and presentable.
Personality
While very much a logic-focused Vulcan, those who’ve spent time with him generally say Sovalek has a sense of wonder uncommon among his Vulcan peers. He, by all accounts, genuinely enjoys learning about other species’ customs, especially from an archaeological standpoint where it pertains to pre-warp cultures.
History
The USS Ride and her Exploratory Squadron is Sovalek’s first posting, as it is his midshipman’s cruise while he completes his final year at Starfleet Academy.
