Sub-Centurion T’Parr serves as the senior tactical officer of the RRW Tomal. She crews the primary tactical station on the bridge during major operations. Her responsibilities include control of the warbird’s disruptor arrays, heavy plasma weapons, torpedo systems and defensive shields. She works closely with the command team to assess threats and develop responses that protect the Tomal.

Her responsibilities extend into ground operations. T’Parr trains personnel assigned to armed teams and commands larger security deployments during planetary missions. She develops drills that are centered around unfamiliar terrain, hostile wildlife, boarding actions and the protection of scientific teams. During dangerous surveys, she might leave the bridge to command personnel in the field.

T’Parr also works to integrate Vulcan and Romulan methods of combat. She favors careful preparation, controlled movements and the efficient application of force. Romulan tactical traditions provide her with methods that are sometimes more aggressive than those she learned earlier in her career. Her goal is to create shipboard teams that function as a single crew regardless of its cultural background.

T’Parr possesses an oval face surrounded by short brown hair. Thin, angular cheekbones frame a delicate nose that narrows into a slightly fleshy point. An elegant jawline follows a gentle angle down to her narrow chin. Heart-shaped lips highlight the lower portion of her features. Her bottom lip is slightly fuller than the top.

Her hair appears dark brown from a distance. Direct light reveals warm golden-brown tones hidden throughout it. T’Parr keeps it in a short pixie cut. Longer strands across the front fall close to her brow as loose bangs. The hair is shorter around her ears and the rear of her scalp. Small triangular sideburns extend along either side of her face.

Crystal-clear lavender irises remain tightly fixed on whatever she studies. Small changes in her gaze can become more noticeable as the rest of her expression is usually controlled.

T’Parr stands at 5’6” with a thin, lean figure. Little visible muscle definition marks her arms or shoulders. Her appearance can make her physical capabilities easy to underestimate. Regular tactical training gives her much more strength than her narrow frame suggests. She combines that strength with balance, flexibility and carefully practiced fighting techniques.

Her posture remains upright and formal while on duty. She tends to keep her arms close to her sides as she walks. Her movements become even quicker during combat training. The quiet Vulcan behind the tactical station can shift into sudden, aggressive activity at a moment’s notice.

T’Parr strives to approach life through logic and emotional discipline. She speaks calmly, considers her words carefully and prefers to understand a situation before she acts. Meditation forms an important part of maintaining that control. She usually meditates before the start of her duty shift and again after periods of intense activity.

Her temper remains her greatest challenge.

Anger can rise quickly when T’Parr encounters incompetence, unnecessary risk or repeated failures to follow clear instructions. She normally recognizes the emotion before it reaches the surface. Sometimes she does not contain it quickly enough.

Those moments can almost resemble an outburst by Vulcan standards. Her voice rises slightly. Words become sharp and arrive much faster than her normal measured speech. She might interrupt someone with a direct statement before she becomes abruptly silent.

The reaction usually only lasts seconds.

T’Parr becomes intensely aware of the failure in control afterwards. She does not excuse it simply because other species might consider the reaction minor. Meditation, reflection and examination of what triggered the response follow. Her objective is not to pretend the anger never occurred. She wants to understand it well enough that it does not influence her judgment the next time.

This makes her demanding as a tactical instructor. T’Parr expects personnel to remember what she teaches them. She has little patience for someone who makes the same repeated mistake during a drill. At the same time, she does not humiliate inexperienced personnel for lacking knowledge. Ignorance can be corrected through training. Refusal to learn is what frustrates her.

Away from tactical duties, T’Parr reads extensively and has a strong interest in other cultures. History, literature and personal accounts interest her. She wants to understand why societies developed their traditions and how those traditions influence the people that live within them.

Writing is a major outlet for her intuitive nature. T’Parr records observations from her travels and develops essays around the cultures she studies. She rarely shares unfinished work. A document might undergo numerous revisions before she considers its arguments precise enough for another person to read.

Romulan culture has become one of her greatest interests.

Her involvement with the Acolytes of Reunification was forged from a strong sense of duty. T’Parr believes the separation between Vulcans and Romulans has continued for long enough. The destruction caused by the Hobus Supernova and the loss of Romulus and Remus had an effect on her. She considers it logical for Vulcans to help a related civilization that has endured displacement and the destruction of its homeworld.

She does not believe assistance should end with supplies or political agreements.

T’Parr wants the two socities to build permanent ties.

She hopes to eventually form a family with a Romulan. She does not approach the idea through any romantic lens. She sees such a family as a commitment to reunification. Living together, raising children and sharing traditions would create connections that political agreements cannot easily reproduce.

Duty does not mean that she expects herself to accept an unsuitable mate. Compatibility is still necessary. Trust would have to develop naturally.

Her ambitions extend beyond family. T’Parr hopes to become a senior figure within the Acolytes of Reunification. She wants to help shape the movement as it expands. The Sub-Centurion believes her tactical background gives her a different perspective from its scientists, physicians and cultural scholars.

She also intends to command a vessel someday.

T’Parr believes tactical service forms an effective foundation for command. It forces her to make decisions under pressure, understand the consequences of those decisions and accept responsibility for the people placed in danger by them. Tactical command gives her the additional experience of directly leading personnel in combat.
