Saoirse Doyle

Saoirse Doyle has never considered herself the most important person in any room she has walked into, nor the most interesting if she was being honest. She has spent her career facilitating the important people in doing their jobs. Ever since her first days as an Ensign, to Operations Officer, to XO, and finally Captain, Doyle arrives to every moment without ceremony and with one thing on her mind: the job that needs to be done. Whilst other, more aspirational officers might grumble about commanding a hospital ship, it fits her perfectly, perhaps better than she would admit in company. The heroes here are downstairs, doing the hard work. She just drives the bus.
