Kera Tal

Ensign Kera Tal stepped aboard the USS Spector with quiet confidence and sharp Ktarian instincts. Fiercley loyal to her fellow pilots, she’s driven to prove herself under real pressure. In the cockpit she trusts her edge, calm, precise and unafraid to take the risk.

Kera Tal doesn’t just enter a room, she arrives. Loud, unapologetic and brimming with confidence, she carries herself like she already belongs at the top of the board. She’s quick with a grin and quicker with a challenge.

Her confidence borders on arrogance and she knows it. She likes to fly like she has something to prove. In the cockpit she is aggressive, instinct driven and thrives on pushing limits. Often riding at the edge of what is safe and sensible. She trusts her gut and backs it up with results.

Her Ktarian pheromonal awareness adds a sharp edge to her personality. She reads people instinctively and knows when someone is bluffing, nervous and when they’re about to crack. Banter and playful provocation are second nature to her and she often tests those around her just to see know they respond under pressure.

But beneath all of this bravado is a fierce loyalty to her squadron. Especially those she came up with. She may tease and push her fellow pilots but in the moment where it matters she is all in. Kera with take the risk, draw fire or break formation to protect her wingmates.

She wants to be the best and wants to stand out, she wants the recognition. But not at the expense of those flying beside her. She sees their successes as her own. Win together, or not at all.

Hobbies and Interests

Kera’s downtime is anything but quiet. She thrives on competition and regularly takes to opportunity to set something up. Not just to train, but to win. She treats everything like a scoreboard and fully expects to come out on top.

Outside of flying, Kera embraces the more social side of life in Starfleet. She is often at gatherings, drawn to music, loud environments and anything that lets her unwind at full volume. Her Ktarian nature makes her in tune with the room and she enjoys reading that energy and playing off it.

Despite all of this, there is a focussed edge to her interests. For Kera, everything feeds back into one goal, being the best pilot in the room and making sure everyone is aware of it.
