Summary
Kronk is a Half Human, Half Barzan male, and a former Lieutenant of Starfleet, and current Exchange Officer, serving as Helmsman of the Mat’ha Class Raptor IKS Koraga.
Born on Barzan during the initial discovery of the Barzan Wormhole, Kronk would later enroll in Starfleet Academy and begin a promising career as a Pilot and Helmsman. However, his world came crashing down when his younger sister developed a Pulmonary embolism, causing him to resign from Starfleet to return home and help support his family.
Kronk took on various high-risk and shady jobs later in his life to try to earn credit and favor to find a cure for his sister, which ultimately ended in his arrest and her ultimate death. Ultimately, Kronk was approached by a former CO, and offered a clean slate if he agreed to an officer exchange program.
Appearance
Kronk is a typical humanoid, with hardly noticeable Barzan forehead ridges. Standing at 5’7”, he is typical in almost every aspect, being a bit on the flabby side since letting himself go for so many years. He roughly keeps his head shaved, often leaving a mohawk strip down the middle, and sports a messy goatee. He prefers loose, baggy clothes that allow him to conceal all sorts of items and weapons on him.
Personality
Kronk is a dejected and resentful individual. He has lost his career, reputation, and all of his family in futile efforts that, in the moment, he believed to be altruistic. He is a highly self-loathing individual who sees his own suffering as penance for his failures and actions. When not focused on himself, he is a highly capable agent, trained in ground and space operations. His formal training with Starfleet, and underground training with various criminal organizations give him a unique perspective when approaching jobs and tasks. He will also go out of his way for others, that he would never do for himself.
