Summary
Gormash is a Nausicaan Engineer and Ship Master aboard the Mat’ha Class Raptor IKS Koraga.
A Sociopathic Savant, Gormash earned his tradecraft in the junkyards of the Betreka Nebula, salvaging, repairing, and upgrading Klingon and Cardassian tech for a very profitable Ferengi Businessman. When the owner was killed over a business dispute, Gormash did not react and continued with day-to-day operations as usual, even stepping over the owner’s body as if it wasn’t there. It was said he remained in that isolation for over 18 months, still mentally taking orders from the owner in his mind.
When discovered, Gormash was suspected of killing the Ferengi by visiting Liquidators. It was Roh’Khan who was dispatched to the area to investigate. After uncovering his innocence and seeing his immense skill in engineering, Roh’Khan ‘adopted’ Gormash as his new boss, and took him away from the Nebula, which seemed to cure his mental illness…slightly.
Appearance
Gormash is a 5’7” Nausicaan Male, with bone white skin and symmetrical brown lines across his face. He has greasy, slicked-back hair behind his pronounced skull-line. Gormash tends to wear old, vintage clothing, reminiscent of his scavenger days, and makes his own alterations and repairs to his clothing to keep them in functional order. He smells of body odor and sealing fluids, and always has a wide range of expressions.
Personality
Gormash is a very eccentric and territorial individual who resides solely within the Engineering Deck of the Koraga, leaving only when managing major repairs elsewhere on the ship, or if summoned by Roh’Khan or (Reluctantly) V’ecna. He -HATES- non engineers stepping into his domain, and will outright fight people on the spot if he catches them. He has a deep, personal, and psychosomatic relationship with the Ship itself, to whom he refers as his ‘darling’. There is an overabundance of evidence proving that he has severe mental health issues, but it is overshadowed by his intelligence and usefulness. He has an almost brotherly rivalry with Thra’ssk due to their affection towards Captain Roh’Khan.
