Sengar Hesh

A good engineer, Sengar Hesh is the warp theory specialist on board. He’s served aboard the vessel since leaving the academy and knows the warp drive inside and out. There’s not an inch of the thing that hasn’t been touched by Lt Hesh.

Sengar Hesh is driven by an insatiable curiosity about how things work. Since childhood, he has been the sort of engineer who cannot simply accept how a system functions, he needs to see its inner workings for himself. This hands-on approach has made him one of Starfleet’s foremost experts on warp propulsion.

His fascination with engineering is matched by a very approachable and enthusiastic personality. Hesh genuinely enjoys sharing knowledge with others and can get very animated and over excited when discussing warp mechanics or technological developments. Beneath this friendly demeaner lies a determined professional who believes that engineering should continuously evolve.

Hobbies and Interests

Hesh maintains a strong connection to his aquatic heritage and spends much of his spare time in holographic aquatic environments. Enjoying the sensation of open water and the chance to engage the enhanced senses of his species.

He is particularly fond of Tesh’kora, a traditional Arkenite water sport that combines endurance swimming, navigation and teamwork through complex underwater courses.

Unsurprisingly, engineering also features heavily in his hobbies. He enjoys tinkering with personal projects, refining theoretical warp drive concepts and discussing propulsion systems with anyone willing to listen. For Hesh, whether navigating ocean currents or warp fields, both are opportunities to better understand the forces that move people through the universe.
