Dana Florez

A recent graduate of the Fourth Fleet Academy, Dana Florez, is one of the newest members of the crew. Her natural affinity for problem solving translates well into her role as an operations officer on board. She is very competitive and therefore physically active in her personal time, any chance to take on a challenge she’ll be there.

Dana Forez thrives on momentum. Competitive, energetic and endlessly drives, she throws herself into everything she does with and intensity that can be difficult for others to match. Whether on the operations console. the sports field or in training exercises she hates the idea of giving less that her best. Challenges don’t intermediate her, they motivate them. If someone tells her something is difficult, her first instinct is usually to prove that she can do it anyway.

Dana is fundamentally a team player. Years of competitive sport taught her that individual talent means little if the team fails, she carries that mindset into Starfleet. She is at her happiest when working alongside others towards a common goal, often becoming the source or moral and motivation during difficult situations. She wears her emotions openly and celebrates victories loudly.

Hobbies and Interests

Dana is at her happiest when she’s moving. A lifelong athlete she thrives on competition and can rarely resist a challenge, whether it’s a game of Parrises Squares, an obstacle course or a more informal contest. She approaches sport with the same enthusiasm she brings to her Starfleet duties, valuing teamwork, determination and the satisfaction of pushing herself beyond her limits.

Away from organised sports, Dana enjoys group activities and social events, preferring the company of friends to solitary pursuits. She is often the first to organise a team outing, holodeck programme or recreational competition. While she enjoys winning, she really loves the camaraderie that comes from working toward a shared goal.
