Hobbies and Interests
She has an insatiable curiosity about the people and places she visits and often spends her free time exploring new environments rather than staying in once place for long. Whether wandering through unfamiliar cities, browsing local markets or simply striking up a conversation with strangers, she genuinely enjoys discovering the stories that make people unique.
She enjoys music and social gatherings and anything that brings people together. Unlike more academically minded explorers she is more interested in understanding individuals than studying data or history books. Her greatest hobby is simply experiencing life and embracing ew opportunities with enthusiasm and rarely turning down the chance for adventure.
History
Early Life (2364-2394)
Born to an Andorian woman and a Human male in 2364, she is mixed race. She is what is colloquially known as a Starfleet Brat, being born and raised on a Starship with both her parents serving on board. Starfleet was always on the cards for her future, knowing her way around the vessel before she could walk.
Starfleet Academy (2394-2398)
B’lai Ty’ler joined Starfleet and attended Starfleet Academy in San Francisco, Earth. She would often be in trouble with her lecturers for her attendance to classes. The rumours amongst her classmates was that she was off on some adventure somewhere else in the galaxy, but this was never proven. B’lai always had the knowledge to pass any of her exams easily, almost as if she somehow gained extra time from somewhere. She became a specialist in Starship operations during her time at the Academy.
USS Horizon (2398-Present)
Assigned to the USS Horizon as an Operations officer in 2398. While still a junior officer, her natural ability to coordinate the departments of the vessel meant she was the ideal candidate for the Chief of Operations. She took over the position in 2401 and received a promotion to Lieutenant (jg).
LT (jg) Ty’ler contributed with professionalism and dedication throughout the displacement crisis of 2403, she adapted quickly to an unfamiliar and dangerous reality. Their actions helped support the Horizon’s primary mission, protect the crew, rescue the displaced and uphold Starfleet values under extraordinary circumstances.
