Elias Walker

Young, yet capable, Elias Walker is considered a bright and rising star as an officer. He hails from a family with a long history of government service, the child of a Dominion War veteran and a Federation Councillor. Growing up between his family’s Georgia coastal estate and inland lodge – a former ranch turned vast heritage and conservation site – has given him both the comforts of a privileged upbringing and the veneer of hard-working, salt-of-the-earth authenticity rooted deep in the Federation heartlands.

But the best possible education and connections alone do not guarantee excellence in Starfleet. He has risen through the ranks swiftly, proving himself an exceptional tactical and strategic operations officer, serving on high-profile ships at the front line of the Federation’s challenges. This, and his upbringing, have shaped him to have markedly conservative and hawkish politics; he is a product of the era where Starfleet was cautious and suspicious and put its internal needs first, and continues to serve as a champion of benevolent, Federation-first idealism.

Nevertheless, Walker’s composure and good humour make him disarmingly likeable, the picture of a Federation gentleman who can put anyone at ease even as he holds firm to his convictions.
