Appearance
Physically, Kellan is as tall and as physically powerful as others of the Llanarian species in Starfleet, however, this is tempered by his more advanced age.
He has complete heterochromia, with one eye pale blue and the other eye brown.
History
Kell Raaze was born on Llanaria, the youngest grandson of the Llanarian Premier. His uncle went on to become the Premier of Llanaria while Kellan’s father took up an ambassadorial post, which meant that Kellan and his siblings spent a large part of their childhood away from the planet of their birth.
It was during childhood that Kellan came into contact with many starfleet officers, which immediately shaped his plans for the future. When he was old enough, he sought entrance to Starfleet Academy with the sponsorship of a friend of his father’s and was successful.
He had a long and varied career and, as Llanaria has never become a member of the Federation, has sponsored many other Llanarians into the fleet. He only retired when his wife of many years became ill, occasionally speaking at the Academy.
After his wife’s death, and when the call went out for command staff after Frontier Day, he returned to Starfleet service.
