Orvid Phorrel

Orvid Phorrel is a young Denobulan officer that serves aboard the USS Kirk in the capacity of Science Officer.

Despite being in charge of the smallest department aboard ship, with the most limited mission scope – the ever phlegmatic Denobulan approaches his work with characteristic and irrepressible optimism.

Open – minded and endlessly enthusiastic, Orvid contends that new boundaries of science are always waiting to be discovered, if one adopts the right mindset, so is content with his work.

Orvid is personable and possesses an irrepressible sense of optimism that is partly attributable to his Denobulan heritage and partly to the enthusiasm of youth.

Intelligent and inquisitive, Orvid loves a puzzle and is drawn to mysteries with a will to solve them.

Concurrently, in his off duty times, Orvid has become a passionate devotee to old Earth detective tropes and genres and loves to immerse himself in these noir – worlds of wiseguys and dames when he has holodeck access.
