Appearance
Short dark hair, brown eyes, medium build. Stands around 6’2”. Has a scar down the right side of his face.
Personality
On duty, Anderson is professional and direct, though he is known for taking time with struggling underlings to help them along, including with some tough love when needed. Off-duty, he has a sarcastic and punny sense of humor that isn’t as good as he thinks it is, and is known to be an occasional prankster.
History
Anderson came up through the ranks in shipboard postings, typically in security. His last posting was as the security director for a small colony during the Vaadwaur invasion; when the colony was attacked, he led its defense and his teams were able to hold on until Starfleet reinforcements arrived, albeit at significant cost. He requested a transfer to the security teams on Starbase Bravo, both for rest and mental health treatment and for a chance to train some junior security personnel to avoid some of the mistakes that had cost him members of his team.
