History
History
Early History | (2375 – 2390)
Soli was born on the 19th of June, 2375 aboard the USS Everdeen (NCC-78967). At the time her mother served as a physician and her father served as the deputy chief of security. She would spend a great deal of her life growing up with her parents on the ships and stations they were assigned. When she was six the ship had entered a rough area while exploring a nebula. The young Soli becomes lost in the ship eventually finding herself on the bridge. Captain Gianna D’Antonio found her sitting in the center chair ordering the helmsman to lay in a course for Romulus. After this point, she decided that she was going to join Starfleet. It wasn’t until high school that she determined she wanted to be a scientist. As she turned seventeen her parents would transfer to Starbase Bravo and a year later she would join the satellite campus on Mellstoxx III.
Starfleet Career | (2390 – Present)
Starfleet Academy | (2390 – 2394)
The day after she turned eighteen Soli submitted her application to join Starfleet Academy’s campus on Mellstoxx III. Long since deciding to go into the scientific field, she would have trouble the first month as she had yet to find what field of study she wanted to pursue. With some help from her parents her dad in particular, she would settle on astrometrics and particle physics and take up basic xenolinguistics and xenobiology.
Despite much backlash from her mother she decided to take hand-to-hand combat and hand phaser marksmanship as her chosen combat training options. She managed to gain excellent proficiency in both. In some ways, S0li was a scientist, not a fighter but she knew how to do what needed to be done when the need arose. She recognized the need for Starfleet as the Federation’s primary line of defense. During her third and fourth years, she joined the elite Squadron Bravo. During her time with the squadron, she gained additional training in bridge operations, starship operations, diplomacy, and even tactical. This took both of her parents by surprise when they found out she was a part of the squadron. Her dad encouraged her to pursue this course of work as doing so would put her on a fast track to command and would have her own science vessel before turning thirty-five. Her diplomatic skills were already quite sharp with two previous hosts being ambassadors the additional training in the squadron only refined her skills.
Upon graduating in 2390, Soli would achieve top marks in her chosen major fields those being astrometrics and particle physics. By the time she was in her third year, it was already showing that she would be at the top of her class.
USS Saxon | (2394 – 2397)
In 2394, Soli would graduate top of her class and would be given her first assignment as a general science officer on the USS Saxon, a Nova-class surveyor. She remained until 2397 when she transferred to the USS Nile, an Intrepid-class light cruiser.
USS Nile | (2397 – 2399)
After serving aboard the Saxon for a little over four years, Soli would be reassigned to the Nile where she would serve as an astrometrics officer on board. Soli would work closely with her superior Lieutenant T’Soni, the chief science officer on board. They were mostly neutral to each other over time they began to become friends forming a strong work friendship. Three years after serving on the Nile she would be reassigned to Meridian Station in 2399.
Meridian Station | (2399 – 2401)
Following her service aboard the Nile, she was transferred to Meridian Station 2399. The station would be located in a sector where the Federation space, Gorn space, and Klingon space came to a meeting point. Upon accepting this posting she would be promoted to lieutenant junior grade and would for the next three years serve on the ship as its astrometrics officer before ultimately being transferred to the USS Paramount, a California-class utility cruiser in 2401.
USS Paramount | (2401 – Present)
Soli would be among the new officers to join the crew of the Paramount during its second commissioning. After the tragedy that was Frontier Day 2401.
