James Shaw

James Shaw is the resident diplomatic officer and linguist of the USS Pioneer, always at the ready to go into first contacts or linguistically difficult situations. He grew up on cushy Terra, in the city of London, where he also got his intergalactic affairs and linguistics degrees.

Feeling that his skills could best be used in Starfleet, he enlisted as an officer, honing his skills, and was first placed on Cardassia Prime as part of the Starfleet diplomatic team there. After ranking up, fate sent him to the USS Pioneer, where he serves to this day.
